Jalen Colbert is an interdisciplinary artist & designer, focusing on the deconstruction of architectural forms in storytelling. With work spanning film, theater, and commerce, he combines image and model-making, animation, and CGI to dig into the “how”, “what”, and ”why” of creating spaces with intention.
Jalen’s artistic interests concern the intersections of human-ness and architectural forms, the fusion of the digital and the physical, cartoon as an artifact of that fusion, and what “reality” has to do with the way mankind creates non-human things.
